02 / BEFORE THE JOURNEY

Keep your progress.

Save at an in-game save point to use the memory card. The player menu also offers Save State / Load State and Export / Import Save File.

Download a backup before clearing browser data or moving to another device. Load the matching disc before restoring a state.

When the game asks for another disc.

Select that disc below the player and choose “Insert disc.” The current game session stays open. Only swap when the game asks you to.

Controls, sound & fullscreen.

Click or tap inside the game for controls. Z (Circle) confirms, X (Cross) cancels, A opens the menu, S shows field indicators. Arrows move; Enter is Start. Open the player menu to remap keys, pause, change volume or enter fullscreen.

PlayStation BIOS.

The player can try its built-in BIOS substitute. A compatible BIOS from your console can improve accuracy. For this European release, use scph5502.bin.
